Where is it?

Neudorf, the little village in the valley, owns the Nature Reserve.
The Nature Reserve is inside this forest ontop of the hill.
Turning left from this country road, one approaches a parking area at the entrance to the Reserve.
The Alps covered with snow in this period, are not far.
A path for hikers and cyclists leads to the Nature Reserve, a half mile away.
Amid this forest of spruce and deciduous tree forest lay several smaller and larger ponds, some barely accessible from the hiking paths.

  1. Great images. They remind me of my time spent in Germany as a a kid for a few years. There I learned photography in the forests and farm fields of southern Germany. Have visited Geneva a number of times. Beautiful. Got to Bern once or twice, but no further.

      1. Thank you. Glad you enjoy my photography. I live in Virginia. Got the ocean to my east and the Appalachian mountains to the west.

  2. Those trees look great. We are trying to thin our trees so that the remaining ones can grow to maturity.
