Vogelmoos Nature Reserve

I started my walk shortly after 8 AM. The sun was still low. There was still a lot of darkness in the forest. Till the end of my hike in Vogelmoos Nature Reserve, the sun lit much deeper into the woods.

Even when gone, these spruce mirror in the sun. Their dead bodies remind us to watch and take care of the woods. Why did these firs die? I don’t know but it strikes the eye that they are midst healthy neighbors.
