Fall Colors: Nature’s Beautiful Transition

Since my last post of a couple of weeks ago, fall has painted nature with its beautiful colors that we enjoy so much before winter swings its magic wand, and imposes its icy whites.

Following a few stills of our region.

Pier at Lake Lucerne – Mt Rigi behind
the trees in the distance
Lone farmhouse – the cattle had been taken to lower lying stables
The mixed forests with pine trees and deciduous trees impart a beautiful color scheme on this band of forest. Fog was fighting the warmth of the mid-morning sun.
The brook will stop flowing when winter turns water into columns of ice.

Winter is not far away. Every sunny and dry day till its arrival is a gift to our soul and a spark of yearning for next year’s revival of nature.
